Reading the Bible is a source of encouragement and wisdom for billions of people around the world. The tragedy is that so few of those people ever read the book in its entirety and therefore miss out on the countless stories and insights inside its pages.
With this in mind and after looking at the countless resources out there to encourage more reading, I created the Read the Bible in a Year Habit Tracker.
It is a simple and straightforward way to read the Bible in just 365 days. Everyday you’ll be given 2 passages to read, one from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament. This method gives the reader a broader perspective by helping to show the context Jesus and the disciples lived in. A context that was heavily influenced by the history and stories that would eventually become the Old Testament.
The Read the Bible in a Year Habit Tracker has 365 rectangles with 2 passages each. After you have completed each day’s reading you can mark off the day, circle it, or even put a gold star; it’s up to you. The Habit Tracker also invites you to be creative with space for mini drawings or color codes to remember your favorite passages.
We also wanted to make the Read the Bible Habit Tracker approachable to all ages and styles. It comes in tons of colors to make it a worthy addition to your bedroom wall, kid's room, office, or dorm room.
To help you stay organized we included subtle tracker lines: grey for Old Testament and black for New Testament books. This helps you quickly see how many days you have left in some of the longer books like Psalms.
I’m excited to bring the Read the Bible in a Year Habit Tracker into the world and I hope it is a catalyst for people to delve into the book that has given hope to billions.
